CLIO Cosmetics Brand Open Voice and Delete All Stray Kids Photos

CLIO, a cosmetic brand that recently hooked Stray Kids as their brand ambassador, has just responded to the issue of bullying accused of Hyunjin.

Stray Kids

On Sunday (28/02), CLIO made an official statement regarding one of their new models, Hyunjin Stray Kids, who was rumored to be a bully some time ago which was followed by an official apology from idols.

Due to this problem, the brand took a stand by deleting all photos of Stray Kids from their official platform.

Here's the official statement from CLIO:

“We are making an announcement for customers who love CLIO.

First, we apologize for the delay in providing the public with a response to the recent controversy involving one of the CLIO model members, Stray Kids.

Following this controversy, our company immediately suspended all promotional activities involving this model. After hearing from a model agency that they need more time to investigate and reveal the true facts, we also submitted a request to our domestic business partners that they stop using this content and stop all promotions related to the model.

However, we have provided content related to this model to overseas distributors for a long time, and although our company continues to request that they stop using it after this incident, a number of our overseas distributors are unable to apply it due to their local circumstances. These overseas distributors are releasing model content publicly along with their scheduled promotions, and we still haven't received any plans to change their upcoming scheduled promotions.

We sincerely apologize to customers who felt uncomfortable because we were unable to respond quickly and take swift action in this situation. Currently, we are discussing future plans for the model. Our company is in the process of speaking closely with all parties involved, and we are doing our best so that we can respond to the current situation wisely. After our final agreement, we plan to continue our promotional activities accordingly.

Currently, with the exception of a number of overseas distributors, all content involving our Stray Kids models uploaded before the current edition has been removed.

We will work hard in the future to pay more attention to our customers' feelings and listen to your voices more closely.

Thank you." (www.kpopchart.net)
